Test Call Generators
An iNSight Module
An iNSight Module
As part of the 4C Group’s iNSight framework for enterprise data management, the iNSight Test Call Generator (iTCG) system can be added to the existing iNSight framework in order to enhance the capabilities of the iNSight Revenue Assurance toolset during the identification of possible revenue leakage and assist in achieving regulatory compliance. Fraud Management teams may benefit from the iTCG’s ability to proactively create scenarios to assist in detecting SIMboxes on the network. TCGs are mission-critical tools which can be used to assist revenue assurance departments in improving revenue capture and validating network integrity.
The iTCG is a revenue assurance solution that replicate specific events on the network automatically. The generated data may be used by the iNSight RA and FM toolsets and reports to identify any potential revenue leakage or fraud as well as identify performance issues on the network.
The iTCG allows a network operator to simulate a scenario for testing purposes and validate the results with reliable information which can be compared with that of the CDRs generated by network elements in order to find possible revenue leakages and therefore ensure that the network is performing as efficiently as possible.
The iTCG automatically enables the generation of Voice and SMS events on the operator’s network. The generated Call Detail Records (CDRs) allows the network operator to reconcile, analyse and report on records generated by network elements to test current and new products and rates.
CDRs generated by the iTCG allows the network operator to monitor network elements and create specific scenarios to test services, signal and network quality as well network element configurations in order to ensure network quality of service.
Detecting SIMboxes on the network is another way Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management teams may assist in protecting loss of revenue by proactively simulating relevant events such as roaming and long distance calls. The records generated by the iTCG are reconciled with all of the network elements involved to detect and locate SIMboxes on the operator’s network.
